As our blog usually posts on Thursday, we’re sending it out a wee bit early this time so we can have one less thing to do on Thanksgiving Day. After all, it’s a day to set aside the routine and toil of daily life and just indulge … and be grateful. That said, here’s a short but sweet little Thanksgiving Day poem that was posted at Texas Recipes. It pretty much sums up this wonderful American holiday. We hope you love it as much as we did!
May your stuffing be tasty,
May your turkey be plump,
May your potatoes and gravy
Have nary a lump.
May your yams be delicious,
And your pies take the prize,
And may your Thanksgiving dinner
Stay off of your thighs.
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! See you back here next week!
