Labor Day seems to signal the unofficial end to summer but the fun hasn’t ended. There are tons of fun things to do on Labor Day weekend in southeast Michigan so we thought we’d just jot down a few for you.
Michigan Renaissance Festival
On now through the end of September, this festival is packed with food, entertainment and fun. Each weekend is themed and there are many competitions and much to enjoy. Click here to get ticket information and details.
Ford Arts Beats & Eats
This event is a great time out! This is the 16th annual event featuring 200 performances on 10 stages, juried art show, and incredible eats from the metropolitan Detroit area. Admission is just $5 or less depending on the day and time you attend this event in Royal Oak! Yes, you can bring the kids. Click here to visit their website.
Detroit Jazz Festival
Running all weekend at Hart Plaza in Detroit and Campus Martius Park in Detroit.

Polish Festival
The Hamtramck Labor Day Festival celebrates Labor Day and all things Polish. From food, music, and entertainment to yacht races down the main drag, there is tons going on here.
