Today, I’m going to tell you about recent activity on the Canton housing market. From recent data, it would appear that the market is continuing to pick up – with both the median sales price and the total number of home sales increasing!

- Between November and January, the average price per square foot for Canton homes was $93, up 8.1 percent from the same period a year before.
- The median sale price for homes between November and January was $196,250, based on 340 home sales.
- When compared to the same period a year ago, the median home sales price has increased 35.3 percent, or about $51,150.
- Meanwhile, the total number of home sales increased 7.9 percent.

- During the week ending on Feb. 20, the average listing price for a 2-bedroom Canton home was $144,397
