Ashoka is located on the east side of Haggerty Road, just south of Ford Road in Canton and offers a wide variety of Indian cuisine. This description is from their website:
We at Ashoka specialize in Moghali, South Indian, Indian Chinese and North Indian Cuisine’s and make each dish disti
ctive. Fragrant Spices from the four corners of our country are delicately blended in meticulous proportions to create the exotic entrees which we present to you. Each entree,our chefs make, have their own distinctive flavor and aroma which cannot be derived from curry powder but only from the spices which are prepared each day indivijually for each dish. The art of blending and preparation of spices is centuries old and is indespensable to Indian Cuisine. Our Chefs cook your food fresh and spice it according to your taste.
Lunch, Dinner, Catering
Ashoka offers lunch, dinner, catering, and a banquet facility that accomodates 200! They also have a Troy location if you’re out that way.
Lunch Buffet!
Who doesn’t like a buffet? Check out these photos we took of the $8.95 lunch buffet at Ashoka. Yes, it would be great if we would identify each of these dishes for you, but frankly that would have required pencil and paper while holding up the line! Suffice it to say that there were a good number and variety of offerings – both vegetarian and non-vegetarian – as well as salad, a soup, and several sweets. Very tasty indeed!

You can view their full menu by clicking here. Ashoka is open for lunch from 11:30 to 2:30 on weekdays and till 3:00 on weekends. They open for dinner at 5:30 every day and alcoholic beverages are available, including Indian and domestic beers and an international selection of wines.
