Joe Knows Joe in the Village

Drum roll please!  Join us in welcoming a new business to Canton Michigan’s Cherry Hill Village – Village Coffeehouse.  Just steps from Canton’s Village Theater, the Village Coffeehouse is a great place to stop in for your daily fix.  We knew you’d want to know about this great new place so we got the info straight from the owner, Joe Mullally.

In Their Own Words

Village Coffeehouse opened in July, 2012 in Cherry Hill Village. Village Coffeehouse is owned by Joe Mullally, a Cherry Hill Village resident, and is managed by Spenser Skotzke, also a Canton resident. We would consider ourselves a specialty coffeehouse brewing up to 10 varieties of coffee a day from locations throughout the world. We prepare coffee nine ways, each having their own distinct flavor.

What We Offer

When you walk into the coffeehouse, you will find dark brown tones with a punch of color. It’s a relaxing and quiet environment, but at the same time, inviting. We have a simple business strategy to make Village Coffeehouse a successful shop, with great product, great service, and great finances. We have a great seating selection from outside tables, bar top, lounging, and a comfortable eating area. We also have free Wi-Fi for our customers to enjoy while they enjoy our great products. Our customers can still get their morning/afternoon news while they enjoy their drink thanks to our flat screen tv!

Why Here?

Joe has lived in Cherry Hill Village since 2009 and has seen many businesses come and go in the area along Cherry Hill Road. The Village was in need of a place where residents could go to relax and that’s just what you’ll get once you walk into the Village Coffeehouse. With the economy picking back up, Joe couldn’t think of a better place than Cherry Hill Village to make a future with great customers.

The Menu

First and foremost, we are a coffee shop carrying freshly roasted beans from along the equator. Our supplier (Zingerman’s Coffee Company) roasts twice a week to ensure coffee bean freshness. We carry a wide variety of Zingerman’s baked goods including cinn-oh-man, savory strudels and the ever-popular sour cream coffeecake. All baked goods are brought in daily to ensure freshness.

Because of popular demand, a new menu is currently in the works which will include fresh sandwiches, salads and soups!

Bubble Tea Too

Besides our fresh coffee, we also carry bubble tea. Bubble tea is an Asian influenced drink.  Contrary to what most people think when they see the word tea, bubble tea is a cold drink. What is bubble tea, you might ask? Bubble tea is made with a base of black or green tea, flavoring, and of course the bubbles. There are two types of bubbles, traditional tapioca bubbles or the popping bubbles, which are gelatin bubbles with flavoring that bursts in your mouth. Bubble tea comes in four ways:  regular bubble tea, bubble smoothie, milk tea, and bubble icy. Bubble tea is a very popular item in Ann Arbor and many people travel out there just for this delicious treat.

Special Orders

We carry whole bean coffee for retail sale and also accept special orders for all Zingerman’s Bakehouse goods.
