In Their Own Words
We are a neighborhood “Mom & Pop” restaurant where the owner is also the Chef who holds himself personally accountable for the products he creates. My husband makes everything from scratch using the freshest ingredients. He doesn’t freeze anything, and the only fried food is the house chips. Everything else is either baked or grilled.
I make sure our operations run smoothly, that our servers are courteous and attentive to our guests’ needs, and that they are knowledgeable about our menu items. From time to time, I work as a server. It is important for a restaurant owner to be a “front-line-runner” sometimes to see firsthand how the business is operating.

The Menu
We offer homemade dishes that include 10 freshly-made salads with homemade dressings on the side, 11 grilled sandwiches on seedless Russian rye or dark whole wheat, and 11 unique wraps on Lavash bread. All sandwiches are served with variety of sides such as soup, house chips, potato salad, fruit salad, and coleslaw.

We also offer a large breakfast menu made from scratch by my husband. It includes the breakfast classics, specialty skillets like Veggie Hash and Huevos Rancheros, a large variety of pan-cooked omelettes, traditional and specialty pancakes and stuffed French toast, to name a few.

In short, we serve healthy, hearty, and homemade food in a home-like atmosphere. We know our regular guests by their name, and often know what they like to order. Our restaurant is a warm and inviting place with soothing jazz or piano music in the background where many guests run into their friends and neighbors with no surprise, only to realize that they aren’t the only ones that appreciate and enjoy our food and service.

Why Plymouth?
We already had catering accounts in Plymouth and Northville, and strong brand recognition. The location offered everything we were looking for, including ample parking space for our guests as well as a large area to design and build a large patio. It is also near to the Plymouth downtown area which allows us to promote our restaurant during a variety of events and festivals throughout the year.

When & Where
You can find Crawford’s Kitchen at 542 Starkweather, Plymouth. They are open Tuesday through Sunday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Although there is no website currently, you can check them out on Facebook.
