Labor Day weekend is just around the corner – marking the end of summertime for most Canton area families.

Yoga Class: Teach your children about the health benefits of yoga at this class in Westland.  For instance, it is now widely accepted that yoga helps individuals with relaxing, stretching, breathing, strength and flexibility.

Colored Pencils Exhibit: In September, Lotus Arts will host the Michigan Colored Pencil 2011 Exhibition.  Awards will be presented during the opening receptions.  The works shown will range from landscapes to portraiture – all of which were created with colored pencils.

Dawn Farm Festival: During Dawn Farm’s 38th anniversary celebration, you can hear music and support a great cause.  There will be free activities for all ages as well as hayrides, animals to pet, a rock climbing wall, and more! There’s even an auction in which proceeds will go to help defray treatment costs for those who have no money.
