What do you do when Mother Nature gives you snow? Get out and enjoy it!
That was the thinking recently when some of us here at The Bittinger Team found ourselves feeling some cabin fever. We had just received a hearty dumping of snow here in southeast Michigan, and it was calling out to us. A little sledding would clear the mind and free the soul. Right?

McClumpha Park
We have a wonderful park here in Plymouth, Michigan called Plymouth Township Park. To the locals, it’s commonly known as McClumpha Park. It’s nickname probably has something to do with it being located at the end of McClumpha Road, off Ann Arbor Trail.
So, yes, this was the location of our little field trip on this particular day. We found a nice hill and gave it a shot. Well, “we” means our fearless leader Noel Bittinger, our Lead Buyer Specialist Amanda Richardson, and Internal Sales Associate Jackie St. Andrew.

Describing her sledding experience, Noel said “It was a blast but I toppled over so bad the first time down and landed with my face in the snow. Jackie said she had never seen that maneuver before! It was kind of scary but fun. I need a bunny hill, that hill was too steep for me!”

McClumpha Rocks in Summer, too!
Although you wouldn’t know it from the sledding photos, McClumpha Park is an outstanding spot in the summer months. It is an absolutely beautiful location offering acres of rolling land with running/walking paths, play structure, splash pad, picnic area, fishing pond, large trees, and ducks! This park is most definitely one of the gems of the Plymouth, Canton, and Northville area.
