These are the perfect days to splash at local splash pads!
It’s August in southeast Michigan, and that often means heat, humidity, and a few thunderstorms here and there. This year, however, we’ve had absolutely picture-perfect weather! In fact, this past week has been day after day of about 82 degrees and lots of sunshine. These conditions are ideal for whatever suits you, whether it’s hanging out at the amusement parks, catching a concert in the park, taking a stroll through downtown streets, or simply enjoying a meal on a patio at one of our fabulous restaurants.
For others, it’s all about an afternoon of splashing. This image from Plymouth Township Park (McClumpha Park) brings a smile every time. We are thrilled to have wonderful splash pads (sometimes called spray parks, splash pads, or spray grounds) in our communities of Plymouth, Canton, and Northville for residents and visitors to enjoy. We hope you have taken some time to unwind and refresh this season – it’s not over yet!
