As a farming community, it was known as the “Sweet Corn Capital,” and today’s it’s known for its excellent local schools and plenty of fun things to do.

Novi was only recently incorporated in 1969, but it’s become a hub of modern living because of its convenience to major highways and fun points of interest. This community may have gotten its name because it was the 6th township in Oakland County — “No.VI”.
