It’s always a great feeling when you support your neighbors by buying local and using local services. Today, we want to tell you about a local company that we recently learned about called Complete Painting Co. There’s a great story behind the company and it really touched us. Read on as co-owner Patricia Badgley tells us about Complete Painting Co. of Canton Michigan.

In Their Own Words
For starters we have 8 kids: 4 boys and 4 girls, ages 6-20. We are family owned and operated. We have been in business since 1993. Our oldest son, Drew, is a full-time painter and disc jockey. Our second oldest son, Brandon, works part-time when he’s not in school.
We have had many ups and downs in our business and personal lives. In 2011, Cris and I became homeless in Monroe county and decided we needed a new start — or should I say were forced to start completely over!
In the beginning of 2012 we got a dump of an apartment in Detroit and within four months moved to Canton. We had been painting a few homes around the area and decided almost immediately that this was where we wanted to live! Our biggest reason for moving to Canton was our kids! We wanted them to be able to grow up in a great community with good schools, places to play, and safely be able to hang out with friends. And its safe to assume we have found that.
Products and Projects
As for products, we use what our customer wants but we prefer to use Behr Ultra (paint and primer in one) over anything else. We have found that it is comparable to Sherwin-Williams paint without the chemical (crystalline silica).
We are the first company to start the $99 a room special. We give perfect cut lines (without using tape), competitive pricing, and we don’t leave unless you are happy! We do residential, commercial, interior and exterior projects. Just one of our commercial projects was Salon One on Ford Road in Canton Michigan.
