Here at The Bittinger Team, we’re known for our passion for real estate and for our beautiful communities in southeast Michigan. We’re also passionate about being involved and giving back. So when we heard about the program to pack two million meals for underprivileged children on Valentine’s Day, we got right on it.
The Bittinger Team takes on the 2 Million Meal project.
2 Million Meals
Sponsored by Northridge Church (which has a location in Plymouth), the goal of this program was to pack two million nutrition packs for starving children throughout the world in just three days. A massive undertaking, the event was held at Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, Michigan that features 214,000 square feet of exhibit floor space! This was an incredible opportunity to work hard, make a difference, and involve everyone over the age of five!
Although our whole team couldn’t make it, we were pretty excited to have Heather, Stacy, Jeff, Amanda, Jackie, and Kris join me. We also had our old friend Carly and her daughter Jenna round out our group. Well done, team!
Over the course of three days, a reported total of 2, 029,536 meals were put together by 8,810 volunteers! AMAZING!

Great Day to Celebrate
Our Lead Buyer Specialist, Amanda Richardson, was there with the team on Valentine’s Day. This is what she had to say:
Can’t think of a better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day than by showing love for others. As a mother, it was heartbreaking to think of parents not being able to feed their children. It was a blessing to know our efforts helped to ease that burden.
