For those of you who follow us regularly here, you might recall us telling you about a local moms group and the awesome kids resale event they put on a couple of times a year. When those ladies asked us to help spread the word about their spring sale, this Saturday, we couldn’t say no! Mark it on your calendar!

located behind Calvary Baptist Church on the south side of Joy Road, just east of Lilley
What is this sale, anyway?
If you, or someone you know, is looking to purchase pretty much anything for a baby, toddler, child, tween, or even teen, then you have to put this sale on your calendar! As far as we know, there is nothing like it in the area. Two gymnasiums at Plymouth Christian Academy will be FULL of gently used kid stuff. I mean, there is A LOT of stuff.
This includes clothing, books, toys, games, electronics, outdoor equipment, bikes, sports equipment, strollers, room decor, bedding, and footwear. There is also the possibility of finding something truly unique – like a twin bed in the shape of racecar or a drum set – you just never know what you might find there.
All clothing and footwear is arranged by gender and size – just like a department store.
All toys are arranged by age-level.
All items are arranged with like items. You won’t find toys with the room decor, or books with the sports equipment. Just like a true department store, everything is sorted.
The Real Moms Group manages to arrange all this with volunteer effort. It’s not just a sale, it’s a charity event of sorts as well. For the most part, sellers tag their items and then the tags are tallied and sellers are paid for the items sold. The Real Moms Group keeps a portion of each seller’s total and this money is partly used to support their organization and partly donated to individuals, families, and groups experiencing hardship.

– No admission fee.
– Strollers welcome.
– Half-off sale from 1:00-2:00.
– SUPER-well organized using department store clothing racks and like items kept together.
– No digging through individual sellers’ tables.
– Very friendly, helpful volunteers to assist.
– They make sure everything is in great condition.
