Today, I’d like to provide you with a quick update on the current state of the Plymouth, Michigan real estate market.

According to the most recent information – both the median home sales price and the total number of home sales are up – suggesting that this is a great time to be a Plymouth home seller!

Here’s a summary of the most recent market data for Plymouth:

  • Currently there are 161 homes for sale on the market, including 88 in some stage of the foreclosure process.
  • Between November and January, the average price per square foot for homes was $133, up 12.7 percent when compared to the same period the year before.
  • Also during that time, the median sales price for homes was $186,600, based on 122 home sales.
  • When compared to the same period a year ago, the median home sales price increased 6.6 percent – or about $11,600.
  • Meanwhile, the total number of home sales increased by 2.5 percent when compared year-over-year.

    • Northville, MI: $326,911
    • Belleville, MI: $124,900
  • During the week ending on February 20, the average listing price for homes was $378,176, down 1.4 percent from the week before.
  • During that previous week, the average listing price was $383,500.
  • More specifically, 2-bedroom Plymouth homes had an average listing price of $224,544 during the week ending on February 20.
  • 3-bedroom homes had an average listing price of $240,516.
  • And 4-bedroom homes had an average listing price of $407,045.
