2013 will be electric!

Ah, the new year.  What joy!  What hope!  What celebration!

Now that the partying is over … er, mostly over! … sometimes I wonder whether anyone ever expects all that chatter to mean anything a week later.  Or a month later.  Or six months later!

Even those of us who don’t make resolutions still lean towards thoughts like “it’s not a resolution, but this year I’m going to …” or maybe something like “I’m just going to try harder to …” Sure, these aren’t formal resolutions, but in the back of our minds all of us have some goal that we’d like to see realized.

Here at The Bittinger Tem, we have exciting changes for our company up our sleeve for 2013 and we are so close to changing things up that the excitement is electric.  Watch for these big changes as we announce them on our Facebook page and on this blog.  One thing is for sure, though: our commitment to bring you only the top level real estate experience is greater than ever.

Lee and Noel’s puppies are looking forward to the new year too! (Or maybe just some fresh air and a treat, but whatever!)

Here’s to a joyful, peaceful, and electric 2013!

Please enjoy this wonderful poem for the new year that was shared by the Facebook page called Texas Recipes.  Apparently, the original author is unknown but it’s wonderful and really captures how we feel around here perfectly.  HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Take twelve whole months.

Clean them thoroughly of all bitterness, hate, and jealousy.

Make them just as fresh and clean as possible.

Now cut each month into twenty-eight, thirty, or thirty-one different parts, but don’t make up the whole batch at once.

Prepare it one day at a time out of these ingredients.

Mix well into each day one part of faith, one part of patience, one part of courage, and one part of work.

Add to each day one part of hope, faithfulness, generosity, and kindness.

Blend with one part prayer, one part meditation, and one good deed.

Season the whole with a dash of good spirits, a sprinkle of fun, a pinch of play, and a cup full of good humor.

Pour all of this into a vessel of love.

Cook thoroughly over radiant joy, garnish with a smile, and serve with quietness, unselfishness, and cheerfulness.

You’re bound to have a happy and prosperous new year.
