Plymouth, Michigan Real Estate Market Report for October

The Plymouth housing market continues to get more and more robust for interested Wayne County home sellers, according to the most recent Michigan housing data.

Just like in the nearby community of Canton, the median sales price for Plymouth properties as well as the total number of home sales have both shown year-over-year increases in the last several weeks.

Selling Plymouth Real Estate in Michigan

Here are some of the highlights of the most recent market data for the Plymouth real estate market:

  • Between June and August, the average price per square foot for Plymouth homes was $113, up 0.9 percent when compared to the same period the year before.

  • When compared to the same period the year before, the median sales price has increased by 0.6 percent, or about $1,000.
  • Meanwhile, the total number of home sales has increased by 8.9 percent.

  • During the week ending on September 26, the average listing price for homes for sale in Plymouth was $323,018, up 0.3 percent from the previous week.
  • During that previous week, the average listing price was about $322,100.
  • Also during the week ending on September 26, the average listing price for 2-bedroom Plymouth homes was $167,299.
  • The average listing price for 3-bedroom homes was $232,751.
  • And the average listing price for 4-bedroom homes was $400,306.
