Mom-to-Mom sales are not uncommon in the Plymouth, Canton, and Northville Michigan areas but there is one that stands apart among the others. And that is the REAL Moms sale at Calvary Baptist Church. The semi-annual sale is on Saturday, October 6th. Do not miss this sale if you are looking to score terrific, used children’s clothing, toys, and gear at great prices. Just wait till you hear how it’s organized – could not be better.

Who We Are
REAL Moms is a group for mothers of elementary children and younger, formerly known as “MOPS” (Mothers of Preschoolers). The group is open to any women in the area who are seeking fellowship and support from others in their same life season.
You do not have to be a member of Calvary Baptist Church, or any church, to attend. Each meeting consists of snack/fellowship time, a guest speaker on relevant topics to today’s mom, and usually some discussion/activity related to the topic. We cover many different areas, from kids health to spiritual growth. Some sessions are specially formatted for new, fun activities, like trying out a Zumba class during our REAL Moms time!
It is a great opportunity to meet and connect with other moms, and develop friendships that can extend beyond the structured group time. We have two meeting times available, Friday mornings and Wednesday evenings.
More Than Just A Sale
The Calvary REAL Moms Sale is also a community outreach effort. Funds generated from the sale are donated to different individuals, organizations, and families with specific needs, or in times of hardship. Examples of past giving include donations to Old Village School, Calvary mission trips and ministries, moms in need of diapers and baby supplies, and a Russian Orphanage known as the ROSE Organization.
This year, we are thrilled to partner with Calvary’s DIVINE DESIGN mission team to decorate bedrooms for Detroit children attending our “ABC’s in the D” tutoring program!
Sale Deets – Saturday, October 6th
Located in the gymnasiums (yes, that’s plural – they fill two gyms) of Plymouth Christian Academy. This is located behind Calvary Baptist Church on the south side of Joy Road, just east of Lilley. Doors open at 8:30 and close at 2:00.

* Great Set-Up: Easy to find styles and sizes in our department-store style clothing racks! All clothing is sorted and arranged by gender and size. All the toys, equipment, shoes and big ticket items are all grouped by category in a single location. There is lots of space to move around and shop. No digging through table after table of items!
* Great Selection: Everything included in the sale is in great condition, and we have girls and boys clothing from infant to size 14!
* Free admission: It doesn’t cost anything to enter the sale, and you can even bring a stroller.
* Terrific people: Lots of friendly, helpful volunteers to provide assistance and answer questions.
*Half-off Sale!!: Shop from 1 -2 pm and enjoy half-off prices on much of the merchandise that has not yet sold!
