It was a pretty good month for Michigan home sellers navigating the Plymouth real estate market.

Although the number of home sales decreased, the median sales price increased significantly!

Plymouth Properties for Sale

Here’s a look at recent activity on the Plymouth real estate market, based on the most recent data from the real estate website Trulia:

  • Currently there are 260 resale and new homes on the Plymouth market, including 99 homes in some stage of the foreclosure process.
  • Between October and December of 2011, the average price per square foot for Plymouth homes was $107, up 1.9 percent when compared to the same period in 2010.
  • During that same period in 2011, the median sales price for homes increased by 13 percent, to $186,500.
  • In 2010, the median sales price was $165,000.
  • During the week ending on January 25, the average listing price for Plymouth homes was $282,376, down 1.8 percent when compared to the week before.
  • During that previous week, the average listing price was $287,581.

  • For the week ending on January 25, the median sales price for a 2-bedroom Plymouth home was $153,500.
  • The median sales price for a 3-bedroom home was $231,500.
  • And the median sales price for a 4-bedroom Plymouth home was $210,000.
