Like clockwork, the fireworks are coming to Plymouth, Michigan on the 3rd of July.
So what’s the big deal? If you’ve seen one fireworks display, you’ve seen them all.
I say that every time we go to get our spot set up around Plymouth Township Park where the annual 4th of July Fireworks Display is performed.
Then after wiggling our way around traffic and getting our picnic blankets out and meeting our friends there we all get set for the show. Sure it’s pretty much the same show every year but when the booms start you enter childhood all over again.
IT does seem as if they add some new twist every year or fire them off in different sequences that result in “OOO’s and AHH’S”.
Then there is the inevitable finale that you and the gang talk about all the way home.
Oh well … I guess the fireworks is a big deal after all. No matter how many time you see them and how old you get.
